About the Course

Maybe you are new to Pilates or perhaps you are a regular Pilates student. If you are new to our studio, book this as your first appointment at Bela Pilates Studio. This will allow you to fill out our questionnaire, waiver, and policies online before you come in. If you would rather call to book and fill out paperwork at your visit, email or call us to set that up. belapilatesllc@gmail.com or 317-965-9091

This session is all about getting to know you, your body, and how it moves. We will go over Pilates foundational concepts and have you try out exercises on some of the Pilates equipment, like the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, or Spine Corrector. If you are new to Pilates, you may feel a bit overloaded with information. Please, realize that Pilates is an entire method of movement. There are hundreds of exercises and variations on each piece of equipment, so there is no way to grasp the entirety of Pilates on your first day. We want you to feel comfortable and trust us as movement practitioners. Use this time to explore and ask questions. We will likely give you recommendations if you continue to fit your goals, time and budget. We are glad you are thinking about taking this first step. Reach out any time with your questions.
